This gun is one of the best guns I’ve ever used. It holds 35 darts and you can control the rate of fire plus it;s compatible with the 6 round clips and the new 18 round clips. It shoots amazing even farther than the longstrike that claims it shoots 35 feet. This gun is very accurate. I’ve read other reviews that said it’s the best gun on the market and I agree. This gun is also very light unlike the vulcan or stampede so any person can use it. It’s even lighter when using a magazine instead of the drum. This gun takes no more than 3 minutes to reload and only takes me about a minute. This gun is also very quiet so you can sneak up on someone. Overall I give it a five star and have found nothing wrong with it. Buy it!!!!

I do not normally write product reviews, however, in this instance I think this is the best Nerf gun on the market and the best value for money. The others ( and our son has two plus a few small hand held ones) are huge and cumbersome and are a lot less fun to play with. I had tried the second time around for his birthday to talk my son into a smaller one and instead he got another monster nerf gun that he couldn’t lift with one arm at age 10. Finally this bday, his 11th, he listened to his mom and got this one and HE LOVES IT. He agreed with me in the end when I explained the weight problem with the others. Also Amazon had the best price delivered with the extra combo pack of bullets it was cheaper than all the competition (toyrus, target etc..)

This would be a 5 star product as it’s the best gun Nerf’s made except for one fatal flaw. You can’t buy additional 35-dart drums! You can reload a drum in about 2 minutes and if you could buy 3-4 drums, you could play awhile before taking a break between games to reload. As it is with only 1 drum coming with the gun, you will run out of darts within 2-3 minutes (or 20 seconds if you use semi-auto) and then spend 2 minutes reloading. This kind of kills the flow of the game in small groups 2×2, 3×3. At least you can use 6-dart clips to the side, but now these seem pathetic by comparison.
PLEASE HASBRO, sell the drums separately!

This is the best nerf gun on the market. The double fire is amazing. Although you cant buy drums by themselves you can still survive. Over all this is awesome.

this is the recon’s big brother. they should sell spare drums. the slamfire is easy to use just hold in trigger and pump the handle as fast as u can. they should make a value pack is so its automatic and comes with 5 drums and a full ammo box.
and why is the value pack with the spare drum $130 the raider is $30 whats the extra $100 it would be better if it was $50 other than the $130. its alot cheaper if u buy another raider. u can use any clip on it if u want it to be a med. range sniper use a normal clip. if u wan it to be a pistol use normal clip and take the stock off
or a funny looking pistol use the drum

i found out something there is a clip thing on the side of the nerf rocket launcher that can hook to the rail things so i attached it to the top of my raider and it works great raider/rocket launcher = high capacity dart gun with long range rocket
